A weird city, that seems like the remains of what it used to be. A dystopic scenario where everything is open, transparent, surrendered to control. It seems destroyed or not yet finished. Inspired as a set design idea for Shakespear 's Othello, a tragedy where the female character is the ultimate victim. Desdemona, like Ophelia, dies because of love and trust to the opposite sex. The inhabitants of this imaginary city do not walk normally. They have to move like acrobats to survive. They need to be superheroes and adjust to the surroundings.
It is time to face what is in front of our eyes, and support the vulnerable ones.
Nowadays, the talk about women's murdering by men is being more and more an issue, especially after the pandemic. Some claim it is exaggerated. In Greece, the term γυναικοκτονία, that means murder of a woman, is not accepted by many.
Is it really an imaginative concept? Or has this been a phenomenon that has been repeated many times in the human history everywhere? The art just talks about life in the era it was created. Therefore, the theatre plays can be considered trustful information sources. The talks about the right to abortion worldwide are another aspect of the same suppression.
